Morpeth Chantry Bagpipe Museum

Located in Morpeth’s Grade 1 listed 13th century Chantry Bridge Chapel, the Museum specialises in the Northumbria small pipes and their music which are set in the context of bagpipes from around the world.

It is home to a unique collection of 150 sets of pipes, including the remarkable bagpipe collection of William Alfred Cocks (1892 - 1971), a clockmaker from Ryton, new Newcastle.

Opening times: 9.30am-5pm Monday – Saturday all year round
