Durham Cathedral

This stunning World Heritage Site contains relics of St Cuthbert, cathedral and episcopal plate of 17th and 18th centuries as well as Anglo-Saxon artefacts. St Cuthbert’s coffin from the 8th century is also on display.

Opening times: Mon - Sat 10am - 4:30pm; Sun 2pm - 4:30pm; (Sun in Dec and Jan 2pm - 4:15pm)

Entry price: Free. Admission feeds apply to Open Treasure, guided tours and the Bell Chamber.

Open Treasure Admission: Adult £7.50, Child £2.50, Friends of Durham Cathedral, members of Durham Cathedral Choir Association, Cathedral Volunteers, Students and Unwaged: £6.00.

Guided Tours: Adult £5.00, Child and Concessions £4.50.

Bell Chamber: Adult £5.00, Child (age 8 and above) £2.50.
