The Venue

This romantic 16th-century castle was transformed by the famous architect Edwin Lutyens into an Edwardian country home for Edward Hudson, founder of Country Life magazine. Perched atop the tidal island of Holy Island, the Castle offers fantastic views of Farne Island and Bamburgh Castle.

Opening times: 13 - 23 Feb open daily 10am - 3pm; 13 March - 31 Oct Tue - Sun times vary depending on tides; 27-28 December, Mon - Tues 10am - 3pm

The garden is open all year Tues - Sun 10am - 5pm.

*Lindisfarne is a tidal island therefore access times may vary. Castle opens for 5 hours, always incl 12-3pm.

Entry price: Castle & Garden: Adult £6.00, Child £3.00, Family £15.00

Garden only: Adult £1.30, Child Free.
